The first recorded detailed writings in Africa were those written by the Egyptians in 4000 BC. It was really striking how much acumen they had acquired over the years, the managed to demonstrate their abilities by constructing structures of massive proportion that have lasted for thousands of years. Africa has been celebrated for its completely unique art. It would be impossible for you to find the amount of assorted arts and cultures in any other country compared to that of Africa. Regardless of where you travel through Africa, a person will be able to locate a different piece of culture from different sectors. The main emphasis that is generalised across the whole of Africa is the human figure. This generalisation of art is a representation of a loved one, a dead friend or family member or of somebody of great importance.
